For her sweet 16 birthday Ashley wanted a Justin Bieber theme for her and her friends’ art party experience.
Portraits are difficult for most people, but a TEEN IDOL would be a real challenge for me to come up with.
Inspired by the celebrity Pop Art prints of Andy Warhol, the girls started with a colorful watercolor
background, using several special effect techniques we had practiced earlier. Then I had
created a SILK SCREEN of Justin Bieber and each young lady was able to pull a print
of their idol right over the top of their background work. It was a sucessful Bieber-licious experience!!
